Spring in Texas means beautiful fields of bluebonnets. Not only are they the official Texas state flower, they make for awesome outdoor photoshoots!
I am very fortunate to have a very beautiful bluebonnet field just about a mile from my studio here in Frisco. The best time for any outdoor photoshoot is the "golden hour" (about 30 min's before sunset or after sunrise) when the sun creates a beautiful warm glowing effect. It takes a skilled photographer and pro-level gear to get this shot. It's funny...I see a lot of folks with iPhones and Costco kit-cameras trying in desperation to get a golden hour shot in the bluebonnet field. Unless you have the skill-sets and knowledge of off-camera flash photography and the required pro-level strobes, your "pics" will be backlit or harsh and, quite frankly, amateurish.
Hire a professional to get your awesome outdoor portraits. You will be glad you did and your professional portraits will last for generations to come.
