What are the Differences Between Headshots & Branding Images?

Lot's of "misinformation" out there, so let's get straight to the point!
Traditional HEADSHOTS for Business, Social Media pages, LinkedIn, business cards, etc are used to simply show what you look like. Traditional Headshots are composed from the upper chest area and they depict the full face and of course, your head! The backgrounds should be plain with no distractions such as telephone poles, trees, flowers, outhouses, etc. (Yes, I have seen outhouses in amateur headshots!)
ACTOR HEADSHOTS are different from traditional headshots, as I have explained here in this blog: Actor Headshots
BRANDING IMAGES are geared towards depicting a person's lifestyle or showing "who you are" or "what you do" and your interests or the services you provide. They depict more of the body and often have props such as laptops, desks, office equipment, doctor white coats, etc. The dress can be athletic to formal. It all depends upon what lifestyle you want to show.
I combine my photoshoots for Headshot sessions with Branding Images because most of my clients want images of each unique style. Besides, you will have our complimentary make-up & hairstyling ("male grooming" for the guys), so take advantage of the photoshoot and get both HEADSHOTS and BRANDING IMAGES!
